Kaeser

Well since my last post it has been an interesting week and a half. This past weekend was very good, if not the most carefully planed. (Inside humor for me.) But really I did have a good time. Wish it didn't have to end. Rose and I spent the whole weekend together at her mom's apartment. Debbie was out of town for the weekend so we had the place to ourselves with no interruptions. Friday night we had Pizza Hut for dinner. Cheesy Bites Pizza is back! We watched tv and I gave her the chocolates I bought and her card. Afterwards showers were taken and I think we went to bed. Or did we watch more tv then go to bed? I can't remember to well honestly. Either way we went to bed at one point. On Sat. we got up and eventually went and made it to McDonald's for breakfast. Sat around the apartment while I finished up her taxes and submitted them. About four we left to go to the movies and we saw Hannibal Rising. It was an alright movie. I did stay awake for the whole thing so it couldn't have been that bad. When the movie was out we headed to my house so I could get changed into some nicer clothes. Rose was all dressed up and looking fabulous so I had to look at least decent. We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory and had dinner. It was good as usual. We got so sit in the trolley. Next time I hope we get to sit in one of the booths under the stairs. The first time we went together we got a nice little table for two that had some awesome chairs. The second time we got the same location and same type of table, actually it was the next one over, but regular chairs. So I was saying I wanted to eat in the trolley. I was pleasently surprised when that was where we were led. Well after dinner we went back to the apartment and watched Waiting. It's a pretty funny movie IMO. And shockingly we stayed awake and not distracted for the whole movie. But after it was over we went to bed. Sunday was spent kinda lounging around and doing not much of anything. I had to run home to help fix our dryer. Dad took the door off to swap the way it opened and couldn't get it back together, and since I did it the last time, I was called home to fix it real quick. After I did that I ran back over to Rose's to see her before she left for school and pick up my things from over there. Had to do some cleaning after ourselves too real quick. Didn't want to leave the room a mess before Debbie got home. After that not much else happened for the remainder of the day. Just went home and watched some tv and surfed the web.

Now after the weekend Monday was blah. Work sucks type of day. But then when isn't it? As for Tuesday.......We had an interesting meeting this morning with everyone there. I have never seen everyone present in one room before. Was kinda wild. Anyways that morning Roger told me I needed to be done with my first job and back at the shop by 10 because there was some Kaeser reps who wanted to talk to Dave, Roger, and I. Well it turns out they were there to explain some details to everyone about some changes there was going to be with everyone. Not just the Service Dept. First the meeting started off with all the ADI employees and J.M. starting off with a speech of sorts. Basically with just the first few sentences I had it pieced together. He sold off the company to Kaeser. All of us were guaranteed to be kept on but there was going to be some changes. First new location, new vehicles, new uniforms, new benefits, etc. Still not sure all the details but so far I am very pleased. Will be even more after I get some questions answered. This weekend I am meeting with Dave and Roger to discuss the buyout. Roger was not expecting this at all. Blindsided him. Dave was given hints by both J.M. and by a guy from Kaeser was here to check out two of our customers who have had alot of issues with their compressors. No one flat out told Dave but in hind sight the clues were there. We just were blind to them. After I learn more details I will post them. Until then I am going to take a shower since I still haven't actually "heard" from Rose yet. She txt'ed me that she would call soon but I can't wait much longer. I need my shower. And then whatever food I can find to fix afterwards. So until next post.
