Slap an iPod

As some may or may not know, my ipod has quit working for sometime now. i had come to the conclusion that the hard drive was bad in it based off the fact that the thing kept clicking and when i went into diagnostic mode it would fail the test on the harddrive. well after reading how to take apart your ipod i started reading the comments to see how other fared. well someone in there said to smack your ipod. at first i thought they were being sarcastic. i also see where others replied telling them thats stupid. well i also seen a few who said it worked. i didnt know if they were being sarcastic though, but what the hell i thought. what do i have to lose? so i held my ipod, smacked it real good once and hooked it up to my inMotion to start charging it and to get it to load up. well son of a bitch it started working just fine as if nothing ever happend. it booted up and started charging and went straight to the main menu. i turned on the speakers and started playing a song and it works just fine. listening to music off of it right now actually. and it looks like all my music is still intact. i am sooo happy right now. thank god for blogs. and search engines. and to josh the blogger who made this all possible.
