Well the end of 2005 is upon us. And with that you are going to see all kinds of list and what not of what was the best that year. Well imho these are my favs for the year. As far as books go the sixth installment of the Harry Potter saga was my favorite book, this year and over the previous five books. My favorite new band was The Killers. And my favorite movie was........King Kong! Honestly I didnt think I would like it much especially with it being about 3 hours or so long. But I was suprised at how much I liked it. I must also mention though that Saw 2 was a very very close second place winner with the fourth Harry Potter filem, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, coming in at third place. The other films I have seen I am already forgetting. I didnt read much else this year that was news worthy, but I must mention I did start the Series of Unfortuante Events books. Actually those are news worthy. I have read the first seven books and they are fairly entertaining though short. Well hell the recent HP books were too short imo. Well that is about it for now seeing as that it is time for bed. Good night to all.

Just a side note while I am posting. The year hasnt ended and it has been only about two and a half months since I quit Hollywood Video and I am back with the company already. I took a position at the Valley store again on the condition that I would not work scheduled shifts and only help with projects and inventories as long as it doesnt conflict with my other job. I was hired back as a shift leader so i still have some rights and say around the store. My "official" title around the store is "Projects Leader". Made it up myself. Janet brought in a printer for the computer in the office, it just needs a cable to hook it up to the computer, and I plan on printing me a name tag using a blank lanyard insert with that title and my name ofcourse. I really cant keep wearing my Asst. Director name tag esp. since I have quit the place and took a demotion from the position months ago. Oh well I am a sucker for the place. It was my first job and I have been there forever it feels like. Speaking of feels like, it feels like a second home to me because I have spent so much time there it is ridiculous. I met my girlfriend there. Met friends and new people there. Learned many lessons there. So much history. So I went back the day Carrie asked me to come back. And one last thing before I go, I scored a 97% on my application. I only had a 95% in dependability, which I believe I was docked due to quiting, and I dont remember my other score right now but I believe it was a 98% and a 100% for the other two critera. I'll check it out and get back to ya. Night.
