just wanted to point out and drive buisness to my company. hollywood video is open 365 days a year from 10 am to midnight at most locations. i am a shift leader at my store. just letting you know so people will know what i am complaing about when i bitching about my job. it's not one i recommend longer than a few months. at least at most locations. i feel like killing my self instead of going in some days. ok most days. anyone who has ever worked under crappy management and in the customer service area will know what i am talking about. like recently i clocked in an employee to help put the movies out on the wall because we were severly backed up. from what i figured we would have been there till at least 3 am., and that was only because nicole who works at another store happened to stop by to show off her new car, but with him helping we were out of there just before 2 am at the normal time. i know i saved our store in money because it would have cost more for me and the girl i work with to have stayed past 3 then just having him work for just over two and a half hours. today i got a call from the store director yelling at me for doing that. i can live with that. it was my decision to clock him in. but when she said i should have called her and she would have came in and helped i got pissed. if you know my store director then you would know that is bull. i'm in serious need of a new job. i cant stand working there anymore. or i'm going to transfer to another store. something needs to be done. well i'm tired and i need to get up in the morning to open the store. oh joy (severe sarcasm). write more later.
